Craftmanship - Each piece is unique and one of a kind, even though it may have been created several if not hundreds of times. There are distinct subtleties within each individual piece which are endless, that emerge through the process of manipulating the clay.

Background - My formal education is in radio / television / film. After working in the industry for more than ten years, I turned to ceramics as a creative outlet. I continued my formal training at the Barnsdal Art Park in Los Angeles, California and also at College of the Desert, Palm Desert, California. I continue to hone my craft through numerous workshops and lectures. I began my own venture, earth & hand studios in La Quinta, California. I am continuing my work in my new location and studio in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
